Experience in tap, clogging, ballet, jazz, modern, floorwork, physical theatre, street styles
I choreographed Brigham Young University’s MainStage production of “High School Musical” in 2025 with fellow student Bryndal Braithwaite. The cast had 28 students. The second piece was part of Broadway Revue at BYU set to “Underground River” from the show The Last Ship.

Thomas applies excellent analytical and creative skills in his performances. Working with dialects, Thomas uses his keen ear as well as fluency with IPA to speak them masterfully. Thomas’ performance in House of Desires, which I directed, demonstrated a nuanced understanding of classical language, as well as a remarkable level of professionalism. His work led to embodying his role fully (and hilariously). As a creative collaborator, Thomas accepts ideas, magnifies them, and consistently builds the world of the play. His positive and focused energy is infectious and benefits the entire creative company.

Thomas is both an articulate and expressive artist and scholar, embodying a rare balance between physical practice and intellectual rigor. In a world that increasingly requires bridge builders and visionaries, Thomas exemplifies what it means to work in liminal spaces. He thoughtfully and astutely assesses situations, offering fresh insights rooted in his embodied practice. His presence is transformative, both within creative processes and in broader collaborative settings.

Thomas is an exceptional student and was a pleasure to teach. I was continually impressed by his contributions to class discussion, and by the positive and encouraging attitude with which he addressed his peers. I am confident that Thomas will succeed in any academic institution lucky enough to count him among its students.
